Overview:We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our team for healthcare project supporting our client in leading their technology strategy and driving growth in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. As the CTO, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with our clients’ business goals. You will oversee all aspects of our technology operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and fostering innovation in Medicaid self-directed care systems.

Duties:

Develop and implement a forward-thinking technology strategy that supports our clients’ business objectives and drive innovation in Medicaid self-directed care systems.

Work closely with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with the overall goals of the organization.

Leverage in-depth knowledge of Medicaid self-directed care models to enhance technology solutions and ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable regulations, including the State of New York’s.

Manage complex technology environments, including cloud computing, data architecture, software development, and cybersecurity, ensuring system performance, security, and compliance.

Oversee IT operations to optimize processes related to leads, referrals, enrollments, payroll, tax, and EDI.

Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Management team to minimize denial rates and enhance cash flow.

Engage with state-level entities, particularly NYS, to ensure technology solutions meet regulatory requirements and address their technology needs.

Monitor and manage the product technology landscape, addressing any issues or escalations promptly to maintain account health.

Mentor and lead cross-functional technology teams, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and effective communication across the organization.

Identify and mitigate technology risks, develop robust cybersecurity strategies to protect sensitive data, and ensure business continuity in case of disruptions.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

Proven experience as a CTO or in a senior technology leadership role, ideally within the Medicaid and healthcare sectors.

Strong understanding of Medicaid self-directed care models and healthcare IT systems.

Expertise in cloud computing, data architecture, software development, and cybersecurity are essential.

Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Strong metrics-driven operational focus, with a track record of improving enrollment timeliness, payroll efficiency, Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) acceptance rates, and managing denial rates.

Ability to manage complex technology projects and teams, with strong problem-solving and risk management skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience working with Medicaid self-directed care models.

Familiarity with HIPAA and state-specific healthcare regulations.

Prior experience collaborating with New York State agencies.

Pay:

$180,000.00 - $255,000.00 per year

Schedule:

8 hour shift
