Job Responsibilities

Establish and communicate TPA Service Standards

Collaborate with Claims, profit centers, and TPA partners to establish TPA Service Standards in areas such as adjuster staffing, adjuster training, claims reporting, claims file reviews, data collection & distribution, payment delivery, and responsiveness.

Effectively communicate Service Standards to appropriate TPA partner personnel.

Contribute to TPA Service Agreements where applicable.

Establish and maintain TPA performance feedback loop and data collection

Establish and govern mechanism for key stakeholders such as Account Service Managers, Claims Manager, Loss Control, and Starr clients to share qualitative feedback on TPA performance re: Service Standards.

Establish and govern mechanism to collect quantitative data on TPA performance re: Service Standards.

Establish accountability for TPA Service Standards across Starr’s TPA partners

Convert qualitative and quantitative TPA performance metrics into actionable takeaways.

Hold performance check-ins with TPAs to develop solutions to performance issues.

Desired Qualifications

15+ years experience working at or in connection with claims Third Party Administrators.

Previous management experience required.

Previous vendor management experience strong plus.

Excellent relationship management skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Experienced in data-driven decision making.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Starr Insurance Companies is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,000-$249,000.
