Salary Range:

$169,900.00to$186,300.00USD

Job Summary:The Quality Director is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization's quality assurance and quality control programs across multiple manufacturing sites in the US and Mexico. This role ensures compliance with ISO 9001 standards and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and lead the strategic direction for quality management across the organization.

Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 standards.

Design, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.

Ensure all manufacturing processes adhere to established quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Oversee and manage quality control and quality assurance teams across all manufacturing sites.

Provide training, mentoring, and development opportunities for quality staff.

Work closely with other executive leaders to integrate quality into all aspects of business operations.

Facilitate collaboration between quality, production, engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless quality management.

Establish and enforce quality policies and procedures in compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.

Ensure all manufacturing sites maintain compliance with national and international quality regulations.

Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure proactive quality management.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, and Kaizen.

Drive projects aimed at enhancing product quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfactions.

Budgeting and allocation of resources for quality programs and initiatives.

Ensure adequate resourcing for quality control and assurance activities.

Represent the organization in quality-related matters with external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

Handle customer complaints and feedback, ensuring timely resolution and integration into quality improvement processes.

Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality and monitor performance across all sites.

Report on quality metrics, trends, and improvement initiatives to senior leadership and the board of directors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Proven experience as a Quality Director or in a senior quality management role within a manufacturing environment.

In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in quality improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen.

Ability to travel between manufacturing sites in the US and Mexico.

Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Experience with international quality standards and regulations.

Familiarity with ERP and quality management software.
