Head of Security Operations

Job SummaryThe Head of Security is responsible for overseeing the security operations of the organization, ensuring a safe environment for all employees, visitors, and assets. This leadership role involves developing and implementing security policies, managing security personnel, and coordinating responses to incidents. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in law enforcement or military service, along with expertise in surveillance and conflict management.DutiesDevelop and enforce security protocols to safeguard company property and personnel.Manage and supervise the security team, providing training and guidance as necessary.Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.Oversee the operation of CCTV systems and other surveillance equipment.Respond to security incidents, conducting investigations and preparing reports.Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed.Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR readiness.Maintain records of security activities, incidents, and personnel performance.ExperienceMinimum 4 years of experience in a managerial position with a licensed security company.Proven experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.Knowledge of surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques.Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.Certification in first aid and CPR is a plus.Familiarity with security protocols related to emergency response situations.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to maintaining a secure environment while fostering a culture of safety within the organization.Job Types:
