As a Senior Principal Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Global Banking Line of Business (LOB), you provide deep cybersecurity expertise and work across teams to identify, create, and communicate risk, mitigation options, and solutions. Leverage your deep cross-domain expertise to bring together talent that will consistently create solutions, processes, and reusable proof-of-concept models for cybersecurity while remaining at the forefront of best practices for cybersecurity policy and technological advances.
Job Responsibilities
Advises and leads the cybersecurity strategy and development of multiple products, applications, and technologies across a portfolio.
Translates highly complex technical issues, trends, and approaches to leadership to drive the firm’s innovation and enable leaders to make strategic, well-informed decisions about target state architecture.
Drives the adoption and implementation of new technical methods in cybersecurity in line with the latest product development methodologies.
Creates durable, reusable cybersecurity frameworks that improve velocity and quality of output across teams and functions.
Develops architectures that have applicability across businesses and functions.
Champions the firm’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition, 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise and more broadly across the organization.
Experience influencing and leading teams of architects/engineers that design cybersecurity solutions operations on cloud-based platforms and applications.
Experience architecting, leading and driving adoption of security solutions and platforms into production.
Demonstrable experience in the area of managing/assessing technical risk across a broad range of architectures at a senior level, including hands-on experience leading, designing and delivering technology solutions.
Proven hands-on experience and technical depth in one or more technology areas, including Cloud security, Data security, Infrastructure security, Endpoint/Platform security, Security Analytics, Authentication/Identity Management, Mobile Security, or Application Security.
Experience conducting architecture/code reviews to find and evaluate application and infrastructure security risks.
Experience leading/modernizing a focused security team, developing controls for moving into a public cloud environment: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and/or Azure.
Technical expertise in Cloud computing (Public, Private, Hybrid), Microservices, CI/CD, SDLC, Machine Learning, Monolithic Services Decomposition, API technologies and designs.
Experience in one or more modern programming languages (C/C++, Java, Python, etc.).
Experience designing cybersecurity products and solutions for public cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
