The Director of IT is responsible for overseeing the company’s NetSuite administration and managing the internal IT help desk/support team. This is an in-office position, requiring daily on-site presence to ensure smooth system operations and responsive internal support.RESPONSIBILITIESNetSuite AdministrationManage system maintenance and administer system optimizationsImplement new feature rollouts and new functionality to scale the businessAdd custom fields, create dashboards, and setup saved searchesProvide basic change control management and assist with maintaining reporting structuresAssist with new employee trainingManage offshore or outsourced NetSuite resources to ensure seamless collaboration and integration of outsourced tasks into the company’s NetSuite operationsEnsure that external resources meet performance standards, deadlines, and adhere to company protocolsHardware and SoftwareEstablish infrastructure to support and guide departments in information technology effortsIdentify emerging trends in technology that can benefit Case-MateEnsure that Case-Mate stays current and competitive with respect to IT infrastructureOversee the design, development, and implementation of new applications and systemsSupervise the purchasing and allocation of hardware and softwareCreate, delete, and manage accounts for Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive suite of tools including use of Google vault for ad hoc mass search requestsCoordinate and facilitate internal backups of shared drives and mail filesPurchase and maintain necessary software licenses to support all business functionsMaintain website white-list & black-listAdminister/maintain Active DirectoryServe as primary contact with outside vendors in the generation of RFPs, bids, and contractsSystems Operations and MaintenanceMaintain the integrity and continual operation of the company networkEnsure the continual functioning of mission critical operationsMaintain security and privacy of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment.Develop, review, and certify all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plansOversee IT related aspects of all construction projectsDepartmental ManagementProvide strategic direction and daily oversight to the IT departmentOversee the IT strategic plan and ensure it aligns with company goalsLead and manage the internal IT help desk to provide timely support on hardware and software needsSupervise IT support staff and maintain quality of serviceHandle training and development for the support team as neededManage the IT department budget and assume responsibility for department performanceQUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of NetSuite highly preferredBachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related fields8+ years of hands on technology experience with high growth companiesOutstanding business acumen with a focus on ROIStrong interpersonal communication and organizational skillsExperience in system integrations on a total Company and Business Unit level.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
