This Vice President is responsible for leading and managing the data platforms, infrastructure, data engineering, product management and business intelligence work for the Global Data Office. This position will lead the team to support the function. This is an essential role leading our strategic pillar to democratize data and analytics across Visa and for our clients, to unlock the value of our data. Initial focus areas include:Responsibilities include:Data Platforms:
critical in shaping the future direction of our business and works hands-on with the Global Data Office (GDO) leadership team and the Data and AI Platform Technology leadership team to frame and address critical business strategy and operational needs that drive how we collect, manage, and work with data.Data Engineering:
collaborate with Technology at Visa to address tool and technology challenges, enhancing data science and engineering tasks for increased efficiency and innovation.Product Management:
responsible for defining and executing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products, ensuring alignment with business goals.Business Intelligence:
oversee data management, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility from various sources.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.Qualifications
Basic Qualifications• 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 8 years of work experience with a PhD.Preferred Qualifications• 15 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, PhD).• At least 7 years of leadership experience in payments or processing solutions management, ideally with specific relevant knowledge of issuer processing and network business.• Experience and in-depth understanding of the product development lifecycle, market research techniques, and competitive analysis to inform strategy.Additional Information

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.Mental/Physical Requirements:
This position will be performed in an office setting.
