Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer focused engineering solution.As a Secure Wireless Engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape the DoD's communication systems by being a technical advisor to architects, designers, engineers, customers, and management on all aspects of wireless communications. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. The world can’t wait.You Have:Experience with static routing and virtualized environmentsExperience with network and software operating systems including VMWare, Cisco IOS, Aruba OS, or Palo Alto Networks OSExperience in Windows Server and Windows 10 or 11Knowledge of network security configuration expertise to include VPN, IPSec, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Certificate Authorities, Firewalls, or Active DirectoryKnowledge of cross-functional basis of knowledge on Signal Modernization products including Small Form Factor Wi-Fi and SWMREKnowledge of Tactical Network Configuration Items (CIs) and ArchitectureAbility to use NetOps Tools including PacStar IQ Core, Solarwinds, Splunk, or SNMPcAbility to travel up to 25% of the timeBachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience with engineering or 8+ years of experience with engineering in lieu of a degreeSecret clearanceNice If You Have:Experience creating network diagrams using MS VisioExperience writing test plans and providing trainingExperience and knowledge with the Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program and architectureAbility to provide direct phone and e-mail support to the Field Support Engineering teamClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.Compensation:At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
