As an Information System Security Officer (ISSO), you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems in compliance with applicable security policies, regulations, and guidelines. You will work closely with stakeholders to manage security risks and maintain systems’ operational security posture. Additionally, you will collaborate with customers to address their security concerns, ensuring a positive experience throughout the project lifecycle.Responsibilities:Manage and support the A&A lifecycle, including system categorization, control selection, implementation, and continuous monitoring.Monitor and maintain the security posture of systems in compliance with government regulations and policies.Develop, implement, and maintain system security policies, procedures, and plans, ensuring they reflect best practices and compliance requirements.Investigate security incidents and breaches, coordinating responses and reporting findings to stakeholders.Oversee and participate in incident response activities, including analysis, containment, and remediation efforts.Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding security-related matters and concerns.Collaborate with customers to gather security requirements, addressing any concerns and providing regular updates on security activities.Ensure high-quality customer service and foster a positive relationship with customers through effective communication and timely resolution of security issues.Qualifications:Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.In-depth knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes.Strong experience with vulnerability scanning tools, continuous monitoring, and security incident response.Experience collaborating with customers, addressing their concerns, and managing security requirements effectively.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.If you are passionate about cybersecurity and eager to contribute to the national security mission, apply now to join the REDLattice team as an ISSO.
