The ERP Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing and maintaining the City and County of Broomfield Finance ERP system to enhance business operations. This role is responsible for configuring, customizing, and troubleshooting the ERP system to ensure it meets the organization’s needs and drives efficiency and growth.

Examples of duties are not intended to be all-inclusive or restrictive.)Administers, configures, and maintains the ERP system to ensure optimal performance.Collaborates with system users to gather requirements for system enhancements and customizations.Master tester of an ERP system including new modules.Ensures data integrity and security within the ERP system.Analyzes existing business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, recommending and implementing process enhancements to maximize efficiency and productivity.Works closely with end-users across all departments to understand their needs and translate them into ERP system solutions.Provides training and technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving system-related problems.Develop and maintain system documentation including standard operating procedures (SOPs), user manuals and training materials to facilitate user adoption and ensure consistent use of the ERP system.Creates and maintains reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.Performs data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.Collaborates with IT and other departments to integrate the ERP system with other business applications, including BORIS, Eagle, and the GIS system.Works with external vendors and consultants for system integrations and specialized projects.Ensures compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in ERP system management.EducationBachelor's degree required in computer science, finance, information technology, business administration, or related field - required.Master's degree in relevant field - preferred.Experience3 years experience as an ERP Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong track record of successful ERP system implementation and support.Or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides evidence that the applicant possesses the Necessary Applicant Traits.New hires must, as a condition of employment, pass the following pre-offer and post-offer/hire processes: in-person or virtual interviews, reference checks, and background checks, which may include local police check and sex-offender registry.NECESSARY APPLICANT TRAITS AND SKILLS:Ability to function effectively as part of a team.Work effectively with individuals from other teams due to interdependencies between divisions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business processes and data.Exercise considerable initiative and sound judgment; organize tasks and working environment to maximize efficiency.Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and security.Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and related modules.Experience with data analysis tools and reporting software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.Knowledge of government-specific ERP solutions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.Listen well and communicate clearly in English, verbally and in writing with various audiences and through various channels.Working knowledge of ethical guidelines as outlined by professional standards and/or federal, state or local laws, rules, and regulations.Working knowledge of the policies, procedures and goals of the City and County.Knowledge of Google Suite.Ability to interview cross functional subject matter experts and translate their description into actionable instructions.WORKING CONDITIONS AND EFFORT:
