Professional and Technical Services Manager
for the
Laboratory Support Services and Operations II Contract , supporting the
Space Division .
JOB DETAILS
LOCATION:
Onsite - Kennedy Space Center - Merritt Island, FL
JOB STATUS:
Fulltime - 40 hours per week
TRAVEL:
None
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or other technical discipline
10 years of related experience
U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants
Leadership of a diverse team of researchers, scientists, engineers, and support personnel tasked with performing research across multiple disciplines.
Coordination of technical activities across multiple projects
Ability to monitor a large portfolio of active projects
Knowledge of government contracting
Excellent communication, presentation and customer interface skills required.
Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects without missing deadlines or sacrificing accuracy.
Must be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative, and be able to work independently or with minimal supervision.
Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Knowledge of electro magnetics, flight hardware development, micro and molecular biology, plant biology, cryogenics, electrostatics, applied chemistry or technology transfer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides leadership and advanced technical integration across a wide range of research and engineering activities. Coordinates technical activities and performs technical analysis of policy and customer requirements. Acts as the technical interface between government and non-government customers. Supports development of test plans and analysis, schedules, price estimates, budgets, and reports. Monitors contract technical and performance metrics. Develops, implements, and maintains risk management plans.
