What You'll DoAs the Vice President, Corporate Strategy, you are a highly motivated individual who excels at solving complex problems and is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing company-level strategic priorities. You will drive agendas, insights, thought leadership and prioritization of initiatives at the Executive level through effective strategy sessions with our most senior leaders. You are focused on enabling our business to grow, scale and build the Docusign of the future through market analysis, strategic oversight and trend identification. You are accountable for the creation and implementation of the mid to long-term planning and strategy of the company (3 to 5 years). This position will start as an individual contributor building out a team over the short to mid-term.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.
Responsibilities
Develop the company's long-term strategic plans and objectives, optimally building documentation to outline expectations and delivery modalities.
Drive the corporate strategic planning process – providing thought leadership, quantitative and qualitative analysis, recommendations, and materials preparation.
Coordinate and align on goals and objectives with the overall corporate strategy.
Support synthesis of materials for presentations (e.g., to the CEO, the Board, Investors, etc.).
Be responsible for overseeing the finance business case process, investment analysis, analytics, scorecard and benchmarking of initiatives, and evaluating return.
Use analysis to prioritize initiatives, evaluate resource needs based upon a strategic business assessment.
Collaborate with key partners to ensure effective communication and alignment of strategies.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends to drive innovation and competitiveness.
Job DesignationHybrid:
Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation).
What You BringBasic
MBA or equivalent in corporate strategy.
15+ years of work experience at a top-tier consulting firm and/or in an internal strategy department for a high growth organization.
Experience analyzing, evaluating and making recommendations on strategic questions.
Leadership experience in driving strategic initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.
Preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
5+ years experience working in the SaaS industry.
Wage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $258,600.00 - $410,450.00 base salary.
Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $244,100.00 - $365,250.00 base salary.
This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
