Regional Medical Director

This position will oversee their Manhattan clinics (2), located on the lower east side and upper east side, and will also be responsible for their Queens locations located in Flushing and Ridgewood.
Under the direction of the chief medical officer, the regional medical director is responsible for the professional, organizational, and administrative aspects of providing quality medical care to day treatment center patients.

QUALIFICATIONSEducation:Graduate of an accredited school of medicineBoard Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.Board Certification or experience in Geriatric Medicine, preferred.Residency in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or fellowship or experience in Geriatrics.Experience:Minimum of (3) years of staff supervision experience, preferred.Three (3) years of experience in value-based organizations, advanced primary care, startups or managed care.Experience managing providers groups.Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with a frail or elderly population or, if the individual has less than one (1) year of experience but meets all other requirements, must receive appropriate training from the PACE organization on working with a frail or elderly population upon hiring.License:
Current active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in New York State.Additional Requirements
Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date before engaging in direct participant contact.Must have a Medicaid Provider ID and a Medicare Provider ID in good standing.The salary range for this position is $300,000-$320,000/year.
