Candidates must be board certified in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Transplant Hepatology (preferred), with specific expertise in the diagnosis and management of patients with acute and chronic liver diseases.Responsibilities:Providing clinical services in the Hepatology clinics, including both clinics on campus and in hepatology outreach locations.Participating in the inpatient management of patients with liver conditions, with specific expertise in the diagnosis and management of liver disorders.Serving as attending physician on the Digestive Health service.Performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.Providing teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows in the management of patients with liver conditions, with specific expertise in chronic liver disorders.Providing training in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member is required.
