Senior Manager - Offshore Projects

The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $165k to $194k.Position specifics:The Senior Manager - Offshore Projects (Onshore Package Manager) will be responsible for the delivery of the Onshore Package (HDD, duct-bank, onshore export cable package and onshore substation contracts) for New England Wind Project. The selected candidate will manage multi-million-dollar contracts ($500+M in NEW) to secure the delivery of the relevant assets, overseeing design, manufacturing, factory testing, shipment, installation, construction, and commissioning at relevant Project Sites.Main Purpose of JobThe Senior Manager - Offshore Projects is a critical role within the Offshore Business focusing on the delivery of one Key Package. The individual will work as part of a multicultural and multinational team in managing contracts worth more than a billion dollars, defining delivery strategies, managing offshore delivery contracts, and ensuring quality and safety performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead delivery of key work scopes within the Key Package, including coordination of interfaces, management of stakeholders, and compliance with development consent.Ensure Key Package is delivered on time, to budget and quality, observing maximum respect for Health, Safety and Environment.Implement offshore standards, procedures, tools, best practices, and quality requirements for large scale Key Package construction.Manage the Key Package delivery team across multiple countries to ensure intelligent and cost-effective project execution.Coordinate with internal stakeholders including legal, commercial, financial, technical, and corporate functions.Oversee handover of the Key Package from delivery to O&M to secure long-term investment value.Provide strategic delivery advice, risk assessment, and recommendations to the business.Work with the HSE team to develop HSE strategy for Key Package delivery.Carry out any other duties as directed by the Department Manager or EPC Director.Ensure all lessons learned regarding offshore delivery are captured and shared across different offshore packages.Key CriteriaGeneral skills, knowledge and experience10+ years of proven project management experience within a delivery-oriented environment.Experience in managing teams in international environments and in JV structures.Competent in future planning with proven experience in delivery and contracting management.Experience in offshore windfarm, marine works, or oil and gas delivery.Sound relationship management skills and confidence working with senior project managers.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Position specific requirementsMaster’s degree in relevant Engineering Field (desirable Civil Engineering).Relevant experience in civil engineering projects.Demonstrable experience in onshore substation, duct bank works, onshore export cables, and HDD.Mobility InformationPlease note that any applicant who is not a citizen of the country of the vacancy will be subject to compliance with the applicable immigration requirements to legally work in that country.AVANGRID’s employment practices and policies are geared to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.Job Posting End Date:
