About the RoleWe’re hiring a security engineering lead for our robotics development team. In this role, you’ll work with multiple stakeholders including Product, Engineering (hardware and software), and Operations to ensure our robotics systems are secure. This is a lead role. You will be expected to make individual contributions as well as grow a team focused on tackling security challenges & opportunities.

Play an integral role on a focused & talented team.
Lay the technical groundwork to ensure the security of a highly autonomous robot system.
Collaborate with technical domain experts in Hardware, Autonomy (e.g., Perception, Prediction, Planning), and Safety to solve cross-functional security challenges.
Build a focused team to implement any necessary security features.
We’re excited about you because…
B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science, Robotics or related technical field
4+ years of industry experience working within the AV, Robotics, embedded systems or equivalent industry.
Experience with C/C++ and Python.
You have a strong understanding of cryptographic techniques and how they are applied in various problem domains (e.g., data protection, authentication, attestation, etc).
You have a deep understanding of how system architecture interrelates with achievable security properties.
You have experience with various exploit avoidance and mitigation techniques.
You have experience with designing and implementing software deployment systems that leverage trusted-boot, code-signing, etc.
Nice to haves include:
Experience implementing security features for robots or other complex embedded systems.
Experience building and leading technical teams.
