Overview

**This position is Remote. Candidates must reside in California.**Purpose Statement/Position Summary:

This position is responsible for mitigating and managing institutional risks by ensuring compliance with NSPM-33 and other federal guidelines through the development and oversight of a comprehensive research security and regulatory compliance program. Key responsibilities include assessing institutional needs, identifying compliance gaps, and establishing a robust framework aligned with current research security standards. As new federal regulations emerge, this role will adapt and implement necessary measures to maintain compliance and safeguard sensitive information.The Senior Program Manager should possess a deep understanding of federal regulations, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to create and implement comprehensive security protocols effectively. This role will lead departmental efforts to foster program alignment with potentially overseeing financial and budgetary aspects of the program. Additionally, the Senior Program Manager will serve as a liaison to external vendors, managing contracts and relationships to meet program goals and expectations.Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

6+ years’ experience managing multiple, parallel projects. 3+ years’ experience managing projects with teams. Experience in a healthcare environment strongly preferred. Development of training programs & communication management. Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Knowledge of federal regulations and guidelines, and experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting data, managing, and overseeing compliance with regulations highly preferred.Education/Licensure/Certification:

Undergraduate degree required. Graduate degree preferred. Will consider combination of experience and relevant education.

Pay Scale Information

$84,656.00-$152,506.00

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
