(remote, SF Bay Area, or LA Metro) .You willLead the development of production code.Contribute to large-scale services, job pipelines, and systems.Assist with development of architecture and tech stack.Troubleshoot and debug issues across services and multiple levels of stack.Design and improve our platform and components to help engineering teams across LegalZoom build amazing applications.Join a dream team of amazing engineers to drive innovation within the organization to champion product excellence.You have5+ years of experience in a hands-on software engineering role.Passion for building high-impact, well-performing user experiences across different form factors/devices.Strong coding skills in Java/Kotlin.Work experience preferred in one or more of the following technologies: Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Github Actions, GraphQL, SQL DB, No-SQL DB, Kafka, Hive, Spark, Airflow, etc.Experience in architectural patterns of distributed products/services.Experience or desire to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams with design, product, and data science partners.Occasional travel may be required as needed.Remote employees should confirm that the internet service available has adequate bandwidth to support all work processes.LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is ($120,000 - $240,000). Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus, and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
