Help build a modern E-Commerce platform that serves as the backbone for the entire company. This role has a direct impact on the company’s bottom line and works directly with many teams across the organization to improve the way subscriptions, payments, product catalog, and checkout work. Learn about how Dunning, 3DS, and payment gateways work while helping the team level up in terms of leveraging technical tools, design patterns, and cross-team communication.You will:
Lead initiatives (make proposals, produce faster turnarounds, take ownership of defined initiatives).Level up the entire team and produce on their own (e.g., build a tool for the entire team to use vs working in silo).Build and execute on software architecture, execution, and design.Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and other business partners.Spend 60% coding and 40% on architecture, design, documentation, mentoring, scrum duties, and meetings with partners.You have:
Solid software design and architecture skills.Experience with data structures and algorithms.Experience in Kotlin or other JVM-based languages, Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, NodeJS.Experience with Hibernate or other ORM and understanding of PostgreSQL/relational databases.Solid understanding of API/contract-driven development and event-driven architecture.Familiarity with ReSTful APIs, GRPC, Kafka, domain-driven design, Tailwind, CSS, Remix, NoSQL, Kubernetes, Kustomize, Istios, containers, AWS S3, Lambda, Aurora, and CDK is a plus.LegalZoom is a remote-first company, and the national range for this role is ($120,000 - $240,000). Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs. Additionally, an annual bonus, incentive bonus, and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
