Based on that strategy, the Leader is responsible for executing that strategy to optimize the offerings, market position, organic growth, and financial return of the product portfolio across the product lifecycle. Offering Managers work closely with cross-functional departments, such as engineering/R&D, manufacturing/sourcing or software development, internal sales and field sales, marketing, as well as Honeywell senior executives to maximize the growth, development and return on investment of the organization’s product portfolio today and in the future.The
Director of Offering Management for Digital Native Plant
is a key role responsible for growing the industrial automation core software offerings including APC, Process Digital Twin, Workers Competency, Alarm & Operations Management, Process Historian, and Asset Performance Management to enable the digital native plant. S/he will drive the modernization, innovation, scale, enabling cloud deployments, and delivering an integrated offering across multiple products from an architecture and solution perspective.This role reports to the Chief Product Officer of HCI and will be based in Houston, TX.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with our business goals and market opportunities around digitalization, process, operations, people excellence, and reliability.Partner with other Offering Managers, Development Directors, and their Development teams on New Breakthrough Initiatives based on existing offerings or new offerings to enable the Digital Native Plant.Work closely with the commercial team to identify customer needs and market opportunities.Collaborate with engineering teams to design a highly integrated, scalable, and API enabled solution across digital twins, APM, APC to enable the autonomous plant.Ensure that products are delivered on time and to high quality standards.Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends to inform product development decisions.Define and prioritize product features and roadmaps based on customer feedback, market analysis, and business priorities.Work closely with UX team to design the best-in-class user experience and perform user research.Monitor product performance and customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings.KEY QUALIFICATIONSProven experience (10+ years) leading product management, offering management, R&D, solutions architect, technical presales, professional services, or related leadership roles.5+ years leading a team.Experience in SaaS, PaaS, Cloud-based software offerings.Understanding of industrial process technologies and industrial software.Experience with IoT, data management, application of AI/ML in industrials, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, or other related verticals.Product management experience; Agile product development methodology; gathering and prioritizing customer requirements; competitive analysis; authoring technical white papers; driving requirements through R&D; managing and executing beta/ preview programs; field enablement; working with product marketing on market requirements and segmentation; product packaging; licensing; product collaterals; customer presentations.Strong grasp of/focus on usability with experience in driving UI focused products; have worked closely w/ UI design team to drive UI task flows and have preferably participated in usability testing.Ability to communicate business values to the commercial team and customers.Proven track record of successfully defining an entire enterprise-level software product or a major release of a product and delivering it to the market.Proven organizational skills; detail oriented; strong project management skills; ability to multi-task and work on several assignments concurrently; able to coordinate people and processes to deliver a product.Ability to define a strategic vision and to articulate it in front of a variety of audiences.Excellent interpersonal skills, proven track record of building strong relationships and establishing credibility with customers, prospects, analysts, sales, R&D, and the management team.Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving business growth through effective portfolio management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new offerings targeted at growth industries.Developed pricing and go-to-market strategies to maximize revenue and market share.WE VALUEBS, MS in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.An MBA in General Management, Technology Strategy, or Finance.The ability to understand customer’s needs and translate them into software solutions.Ability to influence a wide group of employees including Leadership, Development, Consulting and Sales.Additional Information
