Principal, Technical Business Developer, Buy with Prime
Amazon is seeking an Enterprise Sales Executive leader to join our Buy with Prime (BwP) Enterprise Sales team to lead the evolution and growth of one of our most strategic initiatives focused on helping enterprise customers better engage their end-customers. You can expect to negotiate with enterprise customers and partners, and lead internally through influence with a talent for combining data and vision into compelling partnership stories. Key job responsibilitiesCollaborate cross-functionally across the organization (senior leadership, solution architects, business development, and marketing, support, external partners, etc.) to accelerate adoption by enterprise customers.Develop successful customer outcomes that will serve as case studies or other forms of references.Lead through influence seamlessly across internal and external teams.Communicate effectively with diverse business, technical, and executive audiences.Analyze business models to go deep on enterprise customers’ needs.Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage partnerships that can involve marketing, content, commerce, and technology components.Evaluate the economic and strategic cost-benefit of offerings and partnerships.
A day in the lifeIn this role, you will work backwards from your enterprise customer needs and then collaborate across several BwP teams to identify, define, and bring to market the most valuable, highest-impact offerings. You can expect to partner with multiple Amazon teams outside of BwP to showcase solutions and options for your client portfolio.
About the teamAmazon ‘Buy with Prime’ helps merchants grow their ecommerce website by offering Prime shopping benefits—including fast, free delivery and a trusted checkout—as well as Reviews from Amazon, and more. By integrating ‘Buy with Prime’ services, merchants can attract and convert Prime members and other shoppers on their sites, rely on the world’s largest fulfillment network to streamline order fulfillment and inventory management, and let Amazon handle the payment, processing, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of orders—and customer service and returns as well.
Minimum Qualifications7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience.7+ years of professional or military experience.Bachelor's degree.Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
Preferred QualificationsExperience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner.Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
