The
Senior Business Analyst
will be a key player in driving the configuration and implementation of Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud CRM, ensuring seamless integration with Ticketure for ticketing and events, ActiveCampaign for digital marketing, and other essential platforms. This role is crucial for enhancing the organization’s technology infrastructure, streamlining processes, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to align technology solutions with organizational goals, ensuring effective data management, system integration, and user adoption.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Salesforce Implementation & Configuration:
Lead the configuration and deployment of Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud, including customizing objects, fields, formulas, and workflows to meet organizational requirements.
Oversee the implementation and integration of Salesforce with Ticketure, ActiveCampaign, and other marketing platforms.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to guide the Salesforce implementation process.
System Integration & Customization:
Manage and execute third-party integrations between Salesforce and other systems, ensuring data flows seamlessly and securely across platforms.
Customize and optimize Salesforce views, reports, and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Ensure the compatibility of integrated platforms with Salesforce, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise.
Data Management & Security:
Administer and maintain the Salesforce database, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational policies.
Develop and enforce data governance policies, including data entry standards and protocols.
Configure and manage profile-based security settings to protect sensitive information and ensure appropriate access controls.
Platform Administration:
Configure and manage roles, profiles, rules, and workflows within Salesforce and integrated platforms to optimize efficiency and align with organizational needs.
Provide ongoing platform administration and support, including troubleshooting issues, managing user permissions, and ensuring system reliability.
Stay current with platform updates and new features, applying them to improve system performance and user experience.
Training & Support:
Train staff and volunteers on how to effectively use Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud, Ticketure, ActiveCampaign, and other integrated systems.
Develop training materials and resources to support end-users and promote best practices.
Offer continuous support to ensure users are confident in utilizing the systems and maximizing their potential.
Continuous Improvement & Strategy:
Collaborate with organizational leadership to identify opportunities for technology enhancements that align with strategic goals.
Lead initiatives aimed at improving process efficiency, data analysis, and decision-making capabilities through technology.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, making recommendations for future improvements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Non-Profit Cloud, including the ability to configure objects, formulas, workflows, and custom views.
Experience with Ticketure and ActiveCampaign, particularly in integrating these platforms with Salesforce.
Strong background in database administration, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Expertise in third-party integration, including experience with APIs and middleware solutions.
Proficiency in managing platform roles, profiles, security settings, and workflow automation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Skilled at developing strategic technical roadmaps aligned with business priorities to drive organizational growth and innovation.
Passion for non-profit work and a commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Salesforce Platform-specific certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud Consultant) are highly preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably within the non-profit sector.
Proven track record of leading Salesforce implementations and integrations with other marketing and operational platforms.
Experience in project management, particularly in technology-driven initiatives.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Ability to work in open office environment
Ability to traverse zoo grounds
Salary: $70,000-$95,000
The anticipated start date for this position is December 15th, 2024.
