About:Join a dynamic, established aerospace manufacturing organization in the heart of Los Angeles. You will join a growing procurement team to establish and maintain key supplier partnerships, optimize supply chain processes and play a key strategic role on the procurement leadership team.Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Management:Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost savings, enhance quality, and improve supplier performance.Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify supply chain trends, risks, and opportunities.Define and execute sourcing strategies for key expenditure categories.Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to meet organizational requirements.Manage and cultivate relationships with current suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure advantageous terms for the company.Cost Optimization:Lead initiatives to reduce costs and drive continuous improvement projects.Analyze total cost of ownership and deploy strategies to optimize cost structures.Monitor and report on cost savings and performance metrics.Risk Mitigation and Compliance:Identify potential supply chain risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.Conduct supplier audits and assessments to uphold quality and compliance benchmarks.Qualifications:
Basic:Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field from an accredited institution.10 years of procurement experience, with a preference for aerospace industry experience across diverse categories such as raw materials, purchased components, and MRO.Preferred:5 years in procurement management.5 years of international experience.Bilingual proficiency.Engineering degree, MBA in Business Administration/Economics, or similar qualifications.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Familiarity with technical aspects of raw material specifications.Innovative and strategic thinker.Customer-focused with strong business acumen.Ability to engage effectively with senior leadership.
