What will you be doing?
Barclays Services Corp. seeks Head of Strategy and Transformation in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):
Run technology strategy and transformation office for consumer banking.
Collaborate with a broad range of senior business and technology stakeholders and define technology needs, requirements, future development in order to meet the business strategies.
Lead enterprise-wide technology analysis and design; provide insight to design discussions.
Oversee the implementation process of technology innovation agenda; lead a team to deliver on technology innovation and drive the agenda across CB&P.
Define strategic approach to drive performance of individuals; develop core team capabilities in order to execute change in technology effectively.
Manage suppliers and vendors' performance; ensure activities and projects are delivered in accordance with the established time frame.
Establish opportunities to accelerate and develop talented colleagues; plan and develop a high performance culture in order to minimize performance gaps where they exist.
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
Manage up to 50 direct reports, overseeing their work to ensure business deliverables are met timely and accurately.
May telecommute.

Purpose of the role
To manage change projects that help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
Accountabilities
Management of change projects within the organisation, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards.
Development and management of project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects.
Communication with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, to ensure that they are informed about project progress and that their needs and expectations are being met.
Management of project teams, ensuring that they are properly resourced and that they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives.
Management of project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within the agreed budget.
Creation of reports on project progress to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
Management of project risks, ensuring that risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated as necessary.
Facilitation of change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure that change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.

Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of how business divisions and functions integrate with the Group to achieve the overall business objectives alongside industry theories and practices within own discipline.
Maintain broad and comprehensive functional expertise and significant product knowledge.
Accountable for the control and governance agenda of the business division/function.
Focus on the external environment, regulators, or advocacy groups to both monitor and influence on behalf of Barclays.
