Section (Division) Chief
will be responsible for administrative and programmatic oversight for the section, which includes growing and further developing the existing strengths of the current breast imaging faculty and meeting increasing demand for services as new outpatient facilities are acquired or developed. They will lead the expanding section, ensuring coordination with multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites and engaging in collaborative research opportunities with colleagues. Additionally, this Chief will oversee breast radiology services within The Vanderbilt Breast Center, working in collaboration with breast surgeons, plastic surgeons, medical and surgical oncologists, and pathologists to provide comprehensive patient care.The Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will be an inspirational and collaborative physician with a proven track record of clinical excellence. They will have the charisma to lead, represent and advocate for the Section, and will be passionate about developing contemporary models of care and supporting the tripartite mission.
Requirements:
