Sony North America (SNA) has an excellent opportunity for a Finance Manager in our Imaging Solutions Sales and Marketing Group, based in San Diego. In this position, the Finance Manager will provide support to the management team in performing Finance and business planning (i.e. FP&A). More specifically, the candidate will provide support with performing Sales Forecast with a strong emphasis on financial analysis for preparation and review of the monthly P/L reporting (U.S and Tokyo).
Candidate is expected to provide expertise in Gross to Net Sales trade promotion funding and have working knowledge of accrual accounting principles. The candidate will provide support to the management team to prepare, administer, and direct the control of budgets and monthly forecasts or sales flash. The candidate will also be responsible for providing support to the management team with accurate, timely, and relevant financial information. This includes supporting the monthly financial closing and forecast processes i.e. systems controls, liaison and agreement of accruals and provisions.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree in Economics, Business, Finance or closely related discipline
Minimum 5-7 years related experience
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy required
Must have excellent written and verbal communication
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel required
Working knowledge of SAP is required
Knowledge of Financial Accounting and business acumen
The ability to work independently, prioritize duties, and work within tight deadlines
Strong technical accounting skills, analytical ability, and financial acumen
Experience in demand forecast, preferably in CE industry
Experience in economic analysis and KPI's
Preferred Qualifications:
Eclips, FUSE, and SAP, Vistex knowledge a plus
The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $96,614 to $128,820. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave after three months of employment, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave after six months of employment.
