Sonexus Access and Patient Support empowers pharmaceutical manufacturers by integrating innovative distribution models with patient access and adherence programs and reimbursement services. Patients start therapy faster and stay compliant longer, while manufacturers own their provider relationships and gain actionable, real-time visibility into how, when and why their products are used.The Director, Sales & Business Development - Sonexus Access and Patient Support is responsible for business development, sales growth strategies, negotiations, building strategic partnerships, and winning new and existing pharmaceutical manufacturing clients. This position will focus on new business development within the US and market verticals: Sonexus Access and Patient Support, Clinical Services, and Reimbursement Services.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and drive new business development, opportunities, and revenue growth.Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships at Pharma decision-making customer levels.Lead customer prospecting, negotiations, and selling.Translate healthcare market and customer needs into a well-defined strategy with clear goals, objectives, and actions to drive growth and profitability for the organization.Seamlessly map Sonexus solutions to help customers achieve their HUB and other goals.Develop complex financial models and tailored value-added solutions that meet customer business needs.Responsible for creating and coordinating client pitch presentations.Work with Sonexus colleagues in existing accounts to identify opportunities.Manage the creation and execution of Master Service Agreements and Statements of Work.Demonstrate critical thinking and contribute to innovation.Remain current on market trends and relevant industry knowledge.Inspire, motivate, and create a culture of inclusion, teamwork, and accountability.Utilize and share expertise and broad business knowledge across pharma and Patient Access & Patient Support.Work on or lead highly complex projects of large scope.Act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years business development/sales experience preferred.Experience working for a top-tier pharmaceutical manufacturer, healthcare services company, or patient access HUB provider.Strong Healthcare industry business acumen and network.Developed positive relationships with high-level decision-makers in the pharma industry.Strong executive presence and exceptional leadership skills.Excellent planning, forecasting, pipeline development, and management skills.High energy performer with in-depth knowledge of selling into this industry.Ability to multitask, prioritize, adapt to change, and work well under pressure.Excellent listening and communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office products.Ability to travel up to 30% within assigned territory.Anticipated pay range: $208,800 – $279,525 (includes targeted variable pay).Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.Application window anticipated to close: 4/16/2024Candidates who are back-to-work, people with disabilities, without a college degree, and Veterans are encouraged to apply.Cardinal Health supports an inclusive workplace that values diversity of thought, experience, and background.
