Our software production organization seeks a Software Engineer for our Platform Audio team. This team is a trailblazer in audio technology. Efforts here will contribute to the development of system libraries used for both our current and next generation PlayStation products. You will contribute to the design and implementation of technology used for 3D audio, hardware DSP, and virtual reality. The software you develop here is the foundation of an SDK for industry leading game and content developers and will change the way audio is used worldwide. If this is you, please apply!Responsibilities:Experience with systems programming and debugging using C and C++Multi-threaded programmingUnderstand users’ requirements and assist with integrationContribute to the architecture design and development of audio systems and frameworksCollaborate with international counterparts to realize design and development goalsWork with vendors to evaluate and implement externally developed functionalityQualifications Required:Min. of 3 years systems level programming using C and C++Proficient with these systems/tools: IDE’s, Source Control (git/SVN), and Issue Tracking (Windows/Linux)Experience with one or more C/C++ compilers: LLVM/Clang, GCC, Visual Studio, ProDGStrong grasp of code efficiency and performance optimizationNice to have:Prior embedded system developmentExperienced in writing SIMDUnderstanding of concepts in digital signal processing (sampling, FFT, convolution, filters, etc.)Any exposure to game audio or audio system developmentAny exposure to gaming console and/or consumer electronics developmentPlease refer to our

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
