The Sr. Manager, Entrepreneurship Program is responsible for overseeing, implementing, and innovating the Girl Scout Cookie Program, which serves as the nation's largest girl-led entrepreneurial program. This role involves developing strategies, supporting girls in their entrepreneurial journeys, managing volunteer and troop engagement, and ensuring smooth program operations across various council jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will inspire girls to become tomorrow’s leaders through real-world business experience, financial literacy, and goal setting.Key Responsibilities:Program Development and Strategy:

Innovate and expand the entrepreneurship curriculum to reflect current market trends, including digital marketing, market disruptors, etc.Ensure the program supports the progression of Girl Scouts’ entrepreneurship skills, from goal setting to marketing, inventory management, and customer service.Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs.Collaborate with the VP, Entrepreneurship Program to set strategic goals and objectives for entrepreneurial programming.Utilize data and feedback to inform program improvements and innovations.Ensure all programs align with the organization's mission and values.

Youth & Volunteer Engagement:

Engage and empower Girl Scouts of all age levels through hands-on activities, events, and experiences to enhance their entrepreneurial skills outside of cookie season.Create opportunities for girls to participate in money management, marketing, and leadership activities during the cookie season.Develop and manage cookie reward programs that include outdoor, travel, and adventure opportunities, working cross-departmentally to ensure all program elements are accessible across the council's entire geographic footprint.Lead the youth entrepreneurship program committee, involving key team members in this work.

Partnerships & Outreach:

Establish and maintain partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and community members to support entrepreneurial programming, including, but not limited to the cookie program.

Quality Assurance and Evaluation:

Implement monitoring and evaluation processes to assess program effectiveness and impact.Prepare regular reports on program outcomes and progress for senior management and funders, as necessary.

Operational Support:

Oversee the coordination and logistics of program activities and events.Develop and maintain program documentation, including policies, procedures, and training materials.Address any issues or challenges that arise in program delivery promptly and effectively.

Additional Responsibilities:

Support all customer service efforts throughout the cookie program.Undertake other duties as assigned to support and advance organizational goals.

Skills required to be successful in this role, include, but are not limited to:Passion for empowering young girls in leadership, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.Creative, innovative, and adaptable to evolving market trends and learning opportunities.Strong team player with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Mission-driven with a deep understanding of the community served.Collaborative, empathetic communicator who works well with volunteers, staff, and partners.Critical thinker who applies data and information to decision-making.Growth mindset, embracing learning and resilience during change.Committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and fostering an antiracist environment.Personally accountable for delivering high-quality work.Desired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field.3-5 years of experience in program management, preferably in youth development or entrepreneurship.Strong sales, marketing, and financial management skills; digital sales tools experience (e.g., Smart Cookies).Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with experience working with volunteers and diverse communities.Proficient in cloud-based applications (Microsoft Office/Google Suite) and CRM software (Salesforce).Flexible schedule with availability for pre-scheduled in-person meetings/events and evenings/weekends.Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.Ability to pass background screening, including fingerprinting and DMV verification.Bilingual (Spanish or other language) preferred.Girl Scouts of Northern California (GSNorCal) is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
