The faculty of the Mork Family Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science ( https://chems.usc.edu ) in the USC Viterbi School of Engineering ( https://viterbischool.usc.edu/ ) is searching for outstanding faculty candidates in the disciplines of chemical engineering or materials science in the following high-priority category:
Energy storage/batteries
research area including but not limited to: electrochemistry, next-generation battery technology, modeling of battery components, advanced manufacturing and battery recycling and re-purposing. This position aligns with our departmental focus in Energy Engineering and is open to experimental and computational applicants at the tenure-track or tenured at all levels.

(tenured Associate and full Professor ranks only), have the opportunity to be affiliated with our new USC School of Advanced Computing, with priority given to those whose research aligns with one or more of the following affinity areas: computing and (i) sustainability, (ii) security, (iii) health, and (iv) systems. $1 billion Frontiers of Computing initiative , the largest, most comprehensive academic initiative in the university’s history ( http://computing.usc.edu ).
