About the TeamWe're looking for someone to help scale DoorDash's next billion dollar business, DashMart. The DashMart team is focused on building a new type of grocery store, offering household essentials, groceries, and local favorites to our customers' doorsteps.
About the RoleWe are hiring an Associate to join the DashMart Strategy & Operations organization, focused on building processes, tools, and analytical reporting to maximize the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory ordering. You will be a data-driven contributor as the DashMart business continues to scale. You will focus on understanding our inventory and vendor data at the lowest level of detail, and will develop and execute strategies to improve business outcomes. You will be a versatile team player, and partner with colleagues across a diverse set of teams to achieve these goals: Operations; Data Science; Finance; Product; and Engineering.

Own . You’ll have full responsibility over a sub-metric, driving day-to-day execution and longer-term approaches to improve.
Strategize . You’ll work from fundamentals to develop the strategy that best serves DashMart customers.
Build . You’ll build technical tooling and processes to enable data-driven decisions on inventory purchasing.
Analyze . You’ll use SQL to understand trends and find gaps that can be solved to get 1% better every day.

You don't hesitate to get in the weeds and operate at the lowest level of detail, but you're also able to connect the details to the bigger picture.
You love data. You use data to resolve arguments, and you're comfortable modeling in Excel and SQL and have experience using data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, etc.). Proficiency in SQL is required.
You are able to effectively communicate data issues to technical & non-technical partners.
You have 1+ years of experience. You've succeeded at independently driving initiatives to impact business.
You have completed your BS/BA Degree.
