Position Summary:
The Vice President of Joint Ventures and IDIQ/MAC Programs is responsible for driving sustainable growth through strategic joint ventures and capturing business via Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and Multi-Agency Contracts (MAC) vehicles. This executive will lead efforts to develop business, grow revenue, and manage opportunities from capture through execution. The role requires collaboration with company leaders, partners, and clients to position the company as a leader in federal, defense, and state markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
Lead COMPANY’S joint ventures and IDIQ/MAC business development initiatives to achieve growth and capture targets, ensuring alignment with COMPANY’S mission, vision, and strategic goals.
Manage a portfolio of IDIQ/MAC contract vehicles where COMPANY’S is either the Prime or a Subcontractor, identifying new Task Orders and opportunities.
Lead the company’s growth operations, targeting $50 million in new revenue, with responsibility for pipeline management and accurate forecasting.
Build and expand existing customer relationships, developing holistic solutions tailored to their needs through a consultative approach.
Business Development & Capture
Develop and mature a pipeline of qualified opportunities across IDIQ/MAC vehicles, collaborating with internal teams and strategic partners to execute capture strategies.
Lead capture efforts for Task Orders, including strategic partner identification, proposal development, and quick-turn solutions that meet client needs.
Oversee capture plans for each opportunity, driving price-to-win (PTW) analysis and leveraging internal processes for streamlined proposal submissions.
Mentor and develop team members, enhancing their ability to achieve growth and capture success.
Joint Ventures & Partnerships
Identify potential joint ventures, partnerships, and acquisitions to expand COMPANY’S footprint in target markets, particularly within federal, civilian, and defense sectors.
Serve as the executive liaison for key relationships with clients, industry partners, and government agencies, advocating for COMPANY’S capabilities and fostering new opportunities.
Market Expansion & Innovation
Drive corporate strategy by recommending market pivots, emerging trends, and enhancements that position the firm ahead of industry changes.
Serve as a thought leader within the industry, representing COMPANY’S at conferences and events to increase brand visibility and recognition.
Stay fluent in industry trends, technologies, and competitive dynamics, identifying unique value propositions and differentiators for COMPANY’S in the marketplace.
Revenue Management & Reporting
Track, report, and present pipeline activity and account management updates to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with revenue goals.
Support all aspects of the growth operations process, including business development, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives to enhance the company's competitive edge.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, working with legal and contract teams to safeguard COMPANY’S interests.
Position Requirements:
Education:
Master’s degree required.
Experience:
10+ years of experience in business development, capture management, and IDIQ/MAC contract oversight within federal, state, and defense markets.
Proven ability to manage and capture IDIQ/MAC Task Orders, with a track record of winning contracts and growing revenue.
Experience leading growth operations, with the ability to meet or exceed revenue targets, preferably achieving $50 million+ in growth.
Skills:
Expertise in developing and executing capture strategies for IDIQ/MAC vehicles, including knowledge of major contracting vehicles (e.g., OASIS, Alliant, GSA-MAS, CIO-SP3).
Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities, with experience managing high-performing teams.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust and DoD Secret Clearance.
Nice to Have:
7-10 years of experience managing IDIQ/MAC Task Orders across multiple vehicles.
Established relationships within federal and defense sectors to accelerate business development.
Experience in proposal writing and solution development, with a hands-on approach to driving growth.
