The Reasonable Accommodation Support Specialist II will provide high level administrative support to Department of State personnel for the Disability and Reasonable Accommodations Division (DRAD) located within the Office of Accessibility and Accommodations (OAA).

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for

Reasonable Accommodation Support Specialist II : $129,607.15

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Reasonable Accommodation Support Specialist II Responsibilities Include:

Accurate and concise note taking and electronically capturing notes on the same day as they are taken

Effective scheduling and calendar maintenance

Logistics need to be driven by the DOS employee, but initiative must be taken by the RASS II to ensure preparations are completed to allow the employee seamless access to the physical and electronic environment of the work.

This includes prioritization of what needs to be made accessible

Coordinating travel requirements, pre-travel advising on aspects of accommodations, and ensuring accessibility is coordinated pre, during and post travel.

Provides access for employees at a senior level.

Escorting and various administrative tasks

Performs other duties as assigned

Reasonable Accommodation Support Specialist II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

Education/Experience:

Master's degree in a relevant field or a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of equivalent experience in providing reasonable accommodations

Skills and Abilities:

Proficient in English across multiple linguistic registers

Strong technical skills in Microsoft applications

Ability to work independently and provide tailored, professional services

High level of commitment and support to DOS employees

Additional Requirements:

Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

Ability to obtain a valid passport for potential extended overseas travel up to 3 months at a time

Night and weekend work required

US citizenship is required per our government client

Must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications
