One of Addison Group's clients, a reputable nonprofit/membership organization, is seeking a Membership Specialist to provide essential support in managing member relations and ensuring smooth operations within the membership department.
Job Description :
The Membership Specialist will be responsible for administrative tasks related to member services, supporting recruitment and retention efforts, and ensuring accurate records and communications. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to engage with members professionally.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide support in membership recruitment and retention activities
Process new memberships, renewals, and cancellations in the database
Respond to member inquiries and provide excellent customer service
Assist in organizing and promoting membership events and activities
Maintain accurate records of membership status and track relevant data
Prepare membership reports and assist with data analysis for membership growth strategies
Collaborate with other departments to ensure membership needs are met
Assist in coordinating communication efforts, such as newsletters and announcements
Qualifications :
2+ years of experience in a similar role or in nonprofit/membership organizations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, database management, and CRM systems
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Experience in membership services or customer service is preferred
