About You
As Lugano's next Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of Lugano's financial information. You will be responsible for the daily AR, Revenue Recognition functions and collaborate with various departments to optimize financial processes. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for daily cash applications, collection of SOX documentation, month-end close, preparing journal entries and various ad-hoc accounting projects.
What You Will Do
Maintain the revenue recognition process and supporting documentation
Communicate with operations and sales teams for SOX documentation
Daily cash receipts and cash applications
Update weekly schedules for the management team
Prepare month-end journal entries with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Create standard operating procedures for work functions
Streamline accounting processes and leverage technology to increase efficiency and accuracy. Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance productivity
Cross train with other team members
Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
What You Bring
A proven experience or education in accounting or finance.
You approach your work with dedication to driving and achieving results
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Advanced excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
Experience using NetSuite ERP system is preferred
Prior experience with a CRM system is helpful
Ability to compile, analyze and interpret financial data
You have a hands-on mentality and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a change-oriented environment
Pay Transparency
Targeted base compensation is $90,000 plus annual bonus. The total compensation package is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
