About You
You have a strong background in inventory accounting and experience managing high-value, complex, customized inventory. You will play a critical role in managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. Reporting to the CFO, you will collaborate with various departments, including operations, sales, and procurement, to ensure seamless inventory management and reporting.
What You Will Do
Manage monthly, quarterly, annual financial closing processes for complex, multifaceted, high-value goods.
Monitor inventory purchases and assist the production team with financial support and analysis. Prepare the purchases reconciliation at the end of each month.
Prepare the annual budget and develop labor/overhead rates on a semi-annual basis for the Workshop, our internal manufacturing unit.
Prepare and troubleshoot account variance analysis with a focus on inventory and cost accounting, gross margin, cost of goods sold, international and intercompany transactions.
Assist the Controller in managing the Company’s SOX compliance program, including ensuring SOX compliance with the Accounting and IT department’s processes.
Assist the Controller in managing the external audit/prepared by client schedules assigned to the accounting team for timeliness and accuracy.
Ensure timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
Perform additional accounting and analysis projects as required.
What You Will Bring
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory and cost accounting (luxury retail environment preferred).
Significant hands-on experience using a modern ERP system (NetSuite is a plus).
Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyze large datasets and perform complex calculations.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay Transparency
Targeted base compensation is $110,000 plus annual bonus. The total compensation package is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
