As a Manager, Financial Analysis in the Auto Finance division, you will work for a forward leaning organization that is actively disrupting the auto lending industry. The Auto Horizontal and P&L team helps shape the long-term financial trajectory of Capital One’s Auto Finance business. This role will allow you to see all aspects of the business including income statement forecasting and interacting with senior leaders within the division to help tell the story of Capital One Auto Finance. You will be engaged with Stress testing, Regulatory reporting, and earnings call activities. This role will challenge you to analyze complex data and identify meaningful trends and insights to help stakeholders address evolving business issues and opportunities.Roles require strong problem solving, strategic thinking, and influencing skills in order to effectively:Articulate outcomes of analysis and relevant insightsPartner with business, finance partners, and finance leadership to assess the financial implications of ongoing efforts to grow the organizationDevelop presentations to communicate business and analysis results to senior leadership audiencesGeneral Responsibilities:Financial analysis & reporting: accurately analyze & explain key drivers and monthly variances, suggest actions to the business, and manage the regular reporting processForecasting, and Profit & Loss (P&L) managementRegulatory reportingExecutive business presentations: assist in development of presentations to communicate analysis results to senior audiences; clearly articulate outcomes of analysis to leadership teamsAd-hoc requests and special projectsIndependently manage and prioritize tasksBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or military experienceAt least 4 years of experience in financial analysisAt least 4 years of experience with financial modelingAt least 1 year of experience managing a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) functionPreferred Qualifications:Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in FinanceChartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license6+ years of experience in financial analysis6+ years of experience with financial modelingAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.Capital One offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial and other benefits that support your total well-being.This role is expected to accept applications for a minimum of 5 business days.
