Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Senior Manager Finance
to join our team. Reporting to the Vice President, Finance, this is a highly visible role responsible for providing strategic direction, completing the annual budget process, financial statements, financial planning and forecasting, and input to the decision-making processes across the organization. We are looking for an expert financial modeler with experience in revenue/spend optimization, pricing models, as well as FP&A.The ideal candidate will be a strong leader comfortable working in a fast-paced and highly dynamic environment, managing a growing virtual team of 5. Excellent communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail, strong organization, analytical and problem-solving skills are a must. The successful candidate will be collaborative, professional, adaptable and able to work effectively independently.
Key Responsibilities
Support management to build and maintain growth models and forecasts supporting revenue/spend optimization, pricing models and ad-hoc analysis.You will function as a hands-on, strategic partner to the business leaders while working directly with the V.P. Finance on key metrics and business recommendations.Collaborate on all financial models to identify key investment opportunities, ROI, cost/benefit analysis and partner with business leaders to operationalize their budgets.Lead the annual budgeting cycles for all verticals and monthly, quarterly forecasts ensuring reliable and accurate forecasts and KPIs.Assess key metrics across the business to craft a strategy that aligns the financial model to objective and key results.Responsible for the completion of monthly financial division and consolidated statements.Maintain efficient processes for quarterly and monthly budgeting, forecasting & performance reporting.Manage and develop the finance team on day to day operations and a variety of initiatives.Responsible for reviewing and approving payroll on a bi-weekly basis.Responsible for preparation or review of the annual Corporation tax filings for all Serefin companies.Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
CPA (CPA-CA) accounting designation required.Minimum of 15 years of experience specifically working in Finance and FP&A.Previous M&A and international expansion experience an asset.Self-motivated and self-directed individual who enjoys leading a team.Expert Excel Skills; extensive experience building P&L budgets, forecasts, and CAC Modeling and analyzing large data sets, utilizing data from NetSuite.Experience with NetSuite is an asset.Strong leader with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated experience with multiple lines of business with complex ownership structures.Impeccable analytical and organizational skills.Ability to work closely with senior management team.Attention to detail.
