Job Title : Chief Executive Officer (CEO)Reports To : Board of DirectorsLocation : Southern Chester County, PAPosition Summary :The CEO of United Way of Southern Chester County (UWSCC) provides strategic leadership, manages operations, and oversees the organization's mission to address local needs in education, financial stability, health, and emergency services. This role involves building relationships with donors, businesses, government agencies, and nonprofits to create measurable social impact.Key Responsibilities :Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement strategies to fulfill UWSCC’s mission and goals.Fundraising : Lead efforts to secure resources through donor engagement and partnerships.Community Engagement : Foster relationships with community partners to drive meaningful collaborations.Board Relations : Collaborate with the Board to ensure effective governance.Operational Management : Oversee daily operations, financial management, and staff leadership.Communications : Promote UWSCC’s mission through effective marketing and outreach efforts.Qualifications :Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in nonprofit management, business, or a related field.8-10 years of leadership experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector.Proven success in fundraising, community building, and board management.Excellent communication and team management skills.Financial acumen and ability to execute strategic plans.Passion for community service and understanding of local challenges.Additional Information :The role requires local travel and occasional evening/weekend hours for community events. Salary is based on experience.
