Bend, OregonJob Summary:The Career Development Center is seeking a Director of OSU-Cascades Career Services. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position. The Director provides leadership over the Cascades Edge career program, including plans, systems, programs and performance standards to effectively deliver comprehensive career services, employer relations, and experiential learning. The Director is responsible for building relationships and creating awareness among corporate and community organizations regarding the benefits of hiring OSU-Cascades students and graduates.Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Supervision (35%):
Assists in developing long-term vision and strategies, provides leadership and direction for the Cascades career development team.External Relations (35%):
Develops and implements programming and events to cultivate relationships between OSU-Cascades and employers and alumni.Oversight of Career and Experiential Learning Initiatives (20%):
Provides oversight and support on career and experiential learning opportunities for students.Assessment (5%):
Assesses overall effectiveness and outcomes of strategies.Other Duties as Assigned (5%):
Engages in ongoing professional development and participates on committees and taskforces.What You Will Need:Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.3-5 years of experience in career development, recruitment, or student affairs.3 years of supervisory experience.Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Demonstrated commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.What We Would Like You to Have:Experience in alumni or employer engagement.Experience overseeing and executing large-scale events.Experience in developing and managing department budgets.Working Conditions / Work Schedule:
