The Field Network Specialist must have excellent communication skills along with an in-depth understanding of the current networking protocols. This position primarily requires travel within Colorado.Job Duties:Demonstrate a deep understanding of TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, and VLANs.Manage and configure policy-based firewalls (WatchGuard).Install, configure, and replace wired and wireless infrastructures for small to medium-sized networks.Build and maintain IPsec VPN tunnels to ensure secure branch office connectivity.Collaborate with ISPs and vendors to coordinate and resolve issues on behalf of customers.Communicate complex technical information to non-technical business owners and other stakeholders.Work closely with project coordinators, sales teams, and customers to ensure successful project delivery.Solve complex network problems independently, demonstrating a high level of initiative and adaptability.Consistently research and apply more efficient solutions to network challenges.Adhere to project timelines, maintaining a high level of accountability and attention to detail.Work effectively both independently and within a team, contributing to a collaborative environment.Travel to client locations for implementations, troubleshooting, discovery, and site surveys.Bonus Skill Sets:Network +, Security +, WatchGuard, or HPE Aruba certifications.Advancement and growth into leadership roles.Our Commitment to Diversity and InclusionPacific Office Automation is proud to be an equal employment opportunity employer.
