The position reports directly to the market Chief Network Officer, however has a matrix reporting relationship into the Mountain and Arizona Executive Directors. This role is responsible for understanding the overall provider strategy in the market while collaborating with the executive directors in meeting network market performance objectives through our value based relationships with providers.The role will also develop a strong rapport with the Chief Medicare Officer and support the market Medicare Advantage Strategy and annual bid process. The position will work closely with the Engagement Management resources responsible for optimizing performance of our VBC agreements to ensure that the contract is aligned with company objectives, provider capabilities and how to optimize provider performance.This is an individual contributor role.Required QualificationsA minimum of ten years provider contracting experience required including all forms especially value based agreements.Knowledge of CMS value based contracting methodologies and adoption.Strong communication skills including the use of PowerPoint and being comfortable presenting internally and externally to leadership.Analytical experience with claims data and cost and quality performance analytics preferred.Knowledge and experience with HEDIS measures.Preferred QualificationsPopulation health experience with the ideal candidate having experience working in health care delivery setting or with clinicians responsible for performing under value based agreements.Value based contracting experience across all segments including commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid.EducationBachelor’s Degree and/or professional equivalent experience. Master’s Degree preferred.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
