Job Description & Qualification
The College of Business at Oregon State University invites applications for an open rank non-tenure-track position at the assistant, associate, or full professor (teaching) level starting fall 2025. Position duties include teaching, research, and service.
Required Qualifications:A doctorate degree from an accounting program at an AACSB accredited business school.Evidence of effective delivery of Accounting courses at the University-level.Evidence of an active research agenda that demonstrates the potential to achieve Scholarly Active status consistent with AACSB guidelines and College of Business policy.Demonstrated commitment to educational equity and a commitment to advancing the participation of diverse groups and supporting diverse perspectives.
For the Associate Professor (Teaching) rank, applicants must also show evidence of:5 years of full-time experience working as a faculty member at an AACSB-accredited business school.An appropriate record of scholarship, including continuous maintenance of Scholarly Active status as defined in the COB Faculty Handbook;Sustained effectiveness in teaching, advising, service and other assigned duties.
For the Full Professor (Teaching) rank, applicants must show evidence of:10 years of full-time experience working as a faculty member at an AACSB-accredited business school.Distinction and sustained effectiveness in teaching, advising, service and other assigned duties, curricular development, awards and recognition;An appropriate record of scholarship, including continuous maintenance of Scholarly Active status as defined in the COB Faculty Handbook;Exemplary institutional and professional service, and an appropriate balance between the two.Application Procedure
