Manage a team of dedicated, highly skilled engineers to tackle common problems, encourage standard methodologies, improve quality, and enable experimentation.Work with engineers to develop detailed and creative solutions to sophisticated problems.Participate on committees responsible for the architecture, development, implementation, and support of new and enhanced applications.Contribute to strategic vision, owning and resolving issues that impact design, product success, or address future concepts, products, or technologies.Think creatively; challenge industry standards.Qualifications:
Master's/Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or commensurate experience.2+ years leading software engineering teams.4+ years with software development experience in a scrum/agile environment.Proven track record supporting critical applications; programming in a variety of languages; and using a Systems Development life cycle.Established ability to mentor software engineers in a team setting, including architecture, design, and code review.Experience building and furthering cultures of operational excellence, shipping high-quality platform capabilities to internal teams and enterprise customers.Strong communication, interpersonal, project management, organization, and leadership skills.Ability to generate and articulate new ideas and adapt effectively to new technologies.Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
