Position Summary:The Manager, Budget & Financial Processes is responsible for overseeing the development, and implementation of the organization’s budgetary processes. This role requires a deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and process optimization. This role also plays a critical role in maintaining, supporting, and optimizing the organization’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This position is responsible for providing technical and functional support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of the ERP system. The ERP Support Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system processes and support business operations.Duties and Responsibilities:Support the development of the annual budget process, coordinating with department heads to gather and analyze financial data.Develop multi-year financial models to support long-term planning for constituencies.Work with finance team members during budgeting process to ensure that program managers entered budget projections into the budget system correctly while adhering to association guidelines. Use five-year projection report to identify variances in budget reports.Act as the liaison between the finance department and other departments, providing training and guidance on budgetary and financial processes.Support department leaders in interpreting financial data and making informed budgetary decisions.Compile and review budget system reports to ensure the program manager’s projections were recorded accurately. Format, edit, and finalize lead documents for budget presentation.Troubleshoot budgeting system.Make recommendations on how to enhance processes and procedures for efficiency.Provide day-to-day technical and functional support for ERP users across various departments.Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues, including system errors, data discrepancies, and process failures.Respond to user inquiries, guide them through system functionalities, and assist with data entry or transaction processing.Collaborate with the IT team to implement and test system updates, patches, and upgrades.Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues or improvements.Other duties, as assigned.Qualifications:5-7 years of experience in financial management, budgeting, and reconciliation.Proficiency with financial software (e.g., ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.Attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.Compensation:
