Senior Fund Accountant - Private Credit

We are partnered with a $60b AUM private credit asset manager in Downtown Chicago that is rapidly growing and expanding their financial reporting teams. They are located in the loop working on 2-3 days onsite. Great medical, dental, vision, 401k benefits. Compensation is market competitive.
Responsibilities
Oversee the accounting and financial reporting for multiple private credit funds. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Coordinate the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reports. Lead cash forecasting processes. Collaborate with investment teams to analyze and record complex investment transactions. Assist in the preparation of investor reports, capital calls, and distributions. Liaise with external auditors and support the annual audit process. Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Assist with various special projects as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Economics. 2+ years of relevant experience at another fund or public accounting background in financial services. CPA is preferred. Possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills. Organized with great attention to detail. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
