Senior Fund Accountant, Private Credit

Thriving $60b+AUM Credit Manager seeking a senior fund accountant to join their high growth team. Quick details: Consistently growing fund with clear promotion pathway Hybrid working in downtown Chicago Great PTO, benefits and office culture Responsibilities: Help with accounting and reporting for investment funds, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and agreements. Maintain the general ledger and work with the Operations Team to automate entries. Prepare schedules for capital allocations and incentive fees. Assist with quarterly investor reports and answer investor questions. Support capital calls and distributions, working with other teams. Provide regular fund and business reports to leadership. Help prepare financial statements and assist with audits. Assist with various ad-hoc projects as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required CPA designation strongly preferred. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, private equity, hedge funds, or a similar field. Public accounting experience in financial services is a plus.
