We’re seeking a .NET Developer to join a Financial Services client of ours.Responsibilities :Interpret written requirements and technical specifications for software solutions to business problems.Develop software based on the technical specifications.Analyze and investigate problems with software solutions reported by clients and document the results of their investigation(s).Perform maintenance of software and correct defects identified during the maintenance process.Run unit tests on software created, implement test plans, test harnesses, and document the test results.Investigate and suggest solutions to defects and problems with software solutions detected during testing.Work in a fast-paced environment and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience:At least 5 years’ experience developing enterprise class applications using .NET and C#, particularly distributed and Cloud applications.Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development using .NET Core and C#.Design and implement highly scalable REST API services to handle requests access for data security, access and merge data from downstream services and databases, design and refactor data structure and algorithms to enhance performance.Experience or knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.Experience or knowledge of database design and development (SQL and NoSQL).Experience or knowledge with Cloud Foundry.At least 1 year’s expertise in handling snowflake software with multiple source platforms and establishing real-time experience with the software.Experience in writing Unit/Integration testing and knowledge of code clean Veracode process.At least 4 years of experience working in Agile – Scrum teams.Strong ability to design, code, and debug applications in various software languages.Prior experience working in the investment management industry or a strong desire to learn.At least a few years’ experience in Informatica development where handled multiple vendors' data and built a robust log tracking system to trace errors.At least a few years of expertise in reporting software like Tableau.At least 1-2 years of expertise in handling Python applications, with knowledge to code & debug.Good understanding of investment/trading life cycle, use cases, and data requirements to support the lifecycle.The target hiring compensation range for this role is $47.87 to $53.19 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.Client Description
