Senior Scientist, LNP Analytical Development
Somerville, Massachusetts, United StatesMinimum Qualifications:
PhD with 5+ years relevant industry experience or M.S. with 10+ years relevant industry experience in analytical development with a strong history with oligonucleotide/RNA therapeutics and education in a related discipline (Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, etc).Must have hands-on experience on analytical method development, optimization, qualification, and testing at GMP or non-GMP environments.Experience with analysis of RNAs, lipids, and lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) is highly desirable.Extensive experience with at least one or several analytical techniques is required: HPLC (IPRP, SEC, IEX), capillary gel electrophoresis, qPCR, ELISA, western blotting, DLS, MALS, mass spectrometry.Familiarity with data analysis software such as Empower, Openlab, Chromeleon, and statistical software such as JMP will be a plus.People management experience will be a plus.Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.Independently motivated, detail-oriented scientist with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Excellent organizational skills towards multi-tasking in an extremely fast-paced environment with changing priorities.Responsibilities:
Leading phase-appropriate analytical method development, optimization, and qualification for lot release, stability, and characterization of Tessera’s in vivo programs using lipid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery.Representing the Analytical Development team in cross-functional meetings, presenting results and providing scientific input as needed.Exploring new technology and software to strengthen and streamline LNP characterization workflows.Maintaining external awareness of advances in the field through keeping updated on relevant publications, attending conferences and workshops.Training and mentoring junior scientists as needed.Performing additional duties and responsibilities as required.About You:
