Our company is currently recruiting for an experienced
Food Service Director
to join our team in providing an exceptional dining experience for our residents in our long-term care facility in
Butler, PA . The Food Service Director will oversee all aspects of the dietary department, ensuring high-quality food service, adherence to dietary regulations, and overall resident satisfaction.
Key Duties:
Assure compliance with Local, State and Federal requirements and laws regarding nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations.
Ensure food service operates within established budgetary guidelines.
Monitor food control systems such as food temperatures, portion control, preparation methods, garnishment, and presentation of food to ensure that food is in accordance with physician's diet orders before delivery.
Knowledge of local, State, Federal regulations, and survey inspection processes.
Train, supervise, and evaluate dietary staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, as well as regulatory compliance.
Oversee the overall sanitation and cleaning of the kitchen, storage, dining areas, and equipment.
Perform other job-related duties.
Qualifications:
Certified Food Manager or have an equivalent certification degree along with
Servsafe
certification. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification is a plus.
Minimum 2-4 years managing a food service department in a long-term care facility or healthcare setting.
Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work effectively in a challenging environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and food service management software.
Perform other job-related duties.
